rsx header on tsx?
So I looked and looked and never found a real answer on if a TSX could use an RSX type S race header.
There seems to be a lot more out there than whats out there for the TSX. I know that a new exhaust would have to be used, just want to know if somebody has successfully done this already.

I have no idea but I doubt it.
you can run CL7 headers with a slight subframe modification.
but that's probably as far as you can stretch it.
there's plenty of options for our car:
Maxim Works (FEEL'S)
Mugen
J's Racing
Spoon
5Zigen
Toda
Comptech
DC sports

And unless you cut/weld it yourself a reputable exhaust shop will charge you about 400+ to fab the header to work on the TSX and then how reliable will the finished product be? What about emissions? I found that my combo of DC Sport headers / test pipe proves to be noticable performance gain allowing me to still swap out my Hi-flow cat.

So nobody has actually pulled the factory exhaust manifold and cat and see if it clears everything.
I'm not worried about fabbing some kind of adapter piece from the collector to exhaust, I should be able to take care of that.
Thanks for all the replies, just trying to get started on the new ride

I am wondering if anyone has REALLY tried this yet though...Are there any testimonial posts out there?
It seems odd to me that a CL7 and a CL9 are identical cars except for one having a 2.0L engine and one having a 2.4L. And at that we are talking about 4-5mm of deck height being the only major difference there...
So I kinda need to see why this won't work to really put faith in this claim.

Thank you for the assistance in this matter. The RSX header is shaped very different than the TSX header. If about 2 hp is worth all the time, labor and money to hack up a expensive RSX header than OK. You can get the same results with a good header and test pipe.

Why do people bother to answer a question when they aren't answering shit he probably already knows what's available for the tsx looking for cheaper options because 2 to 3k for spoon mugen toda feels is too much $ I wondered same thing type s header on a tsx would slap but it's probably not going to fit and if it did it wouldn't reach the catback flange tsx is sedan rsx is coupe so it might with a custom length test pipe I am going to look for images and dimensions on those headers and see if it would fit
