haha.. Brembos are awesome, i mean cheap as the price not as the whole thing.. dont get me wrong man.. i was actually surprised that the price of brembo blanks are cheaper than the Racingbrakes by a double.. i guess i've to save up for some racingbrakes.! thanks man

Just don't get them drilled unless you want to be knee-deep in ricer territory.

RacingBrake fronts, Powerslut rear, SS lines, and Hawk HPS pads on all. Once the pads get warm it bites really hard.
The RacingBrake rotors are some high quality pieces. I haven't seen any Brembro blanks but I don't think they use the same heat treating process.

Well I finally stood on the brakes yesterday. The rotors were seasoned and had almost 500 miles on them. I must say there's a vast improvement on OEM.
Strange thing was I couldn't get the ABS to engage. I upgrade the tires to the much stickier Eagle F1 GS-D3. The tires are just slightly larger than stock (+1.5%). This would cause the ABS sensors to need more of a lockup before sending a signal. But the difference is minimal.
Wonder if the calipers need upgrading now to take advantage of the additional grip?
Front: Racing Brake UP rotors
Rear: PowerSlot cryo treated rotors
All: HawkHPS pads, Goodridge SS lines, Vavoline SynPower High Performace fluid

There wasn't a difference in weight between the two. However I didn't put them on a scale. It was just feel alone.
Nope, no noticeable difference in acceleration. Still feels like an overachieving 4 banger pulling a 3300lb car
I did see what appears to be rust on the inner most portion of the RacingBrake rotors where the pads do not contact. It's hard to tell whether it's rust or not b/c it's just a thin powder like coating rather than the obvious rain drop rust marks you get all over the OEM rotors.

It's rust, I get the slight dusting of it too, about 3/16" radius from the hub itself.
I have the EXACT same setup as you, fluid and all. Isn't it a great solution? All the stopping power you'd ever want without the overpriced overkill of a BBK.

I got the pads, SS lines, and RacingBrake UP rotors from MrHeelToe. He's prompt with the shipping & will quote you prices if you PM him. Also he does PayPal which was a huge bonus to me. He has a thread in the Black Market section here: https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/racingbrake-rotors-available-here-now-316102/
The PowerSlots I got from TireRack (2004 model linked): http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brake...ar=&perfCode=S
The fluid can be procured at almost any auto store.
Hit me with a PM if you'd like prices on what I paid.

Finally got my brake setup installed. I got RacingBrake Front rotors along with Hawk HPS Front and Rear. Got the brake fluid changed at the same time and the old fluid was really black. I know the owners manual says 3 years, but mine looked pretty bad after 2 years. The install was done by a friend who is a certified Honda tech.
My front pads had over 50% tread left, but my rear pads were pretty much gone. I found that kind of strange. Anyone else have their pads wear the same way?
I like the setup so far. Haven't had a chance to really push it and test it out yet. Brakes great and is smooth though.

I just had my RB put in today and as soon as I got back in the car and braked in for the first time, I noticed a significant difference!!! The ride is smoother and the brakes stop with much more ease. I am driving down to florida next week, when i get back I will def update with overall drive.

Where did you make the purchase from? I'm going with Hawk HPS Fronts, but am still looking at which rotors to pick up. Slots look nice behind the OEM, looks sleeper like.

hey guys, I have a new 2007 and I just wanna know is it really that much better to buy new rotors and pads compared to stock?? I was thinking about doing it, and getting some with color. What kind of differenct would it make on my TSX and will it void my warranty??

WTF are you talking about? Are you talking about getting the calipers painted? Completely different from replacing pads and rotors, which have nothing to do with color.
