Pulley, pulley, pulley

Underdrive OEM style. Note the size of the pulleys. The one in the center is the smallest and lightest. The one on the right is almost as small but not as light, but still lighter the stock pulley. No dyno result yet to determine the difference but the engine seems to perform well.

What pulleys are those? (not the UR ones)

If you switch out are you going to be selling your UR pulleys? I'll take them off your hands.

So your butt dyno doesn't notice any difference?

What about car accessories and AC? Any difference there?

Yes, it's the PRC/ITR pulley. Since the sizing is very close to the UR crank pulley and I'm still using the UR alternator, and PS pulleys, there isn't much difference in alternator output. I just wanted to test out another pulley option. That's all.

Btw, the weather has been terrible in Seattle so I didn't get a chance to push it much to see the real difference. I thought it seems slightly quieter inside the car with the ITR pulley perhaps due to the elastomer.

you can order the PRC pulley from any acura parts dealer, it's stock on i think 05+ RSX.

the difference is it has the rubber damper ring elastomer or whatever in it still. It's also significantly heavier, but still lighter and smaller than stock.

Humm...$142.00 USD approx. for the RSX Crank Shaft Pulley? That's kinda steep. But it would go a long way towards helping me with the following dilemma:

The pulley is JDM K20a or 05-06 RSX-S. The standard RSX has a different size pulley.

on a scale of 1-10 how hard was it to install, and do you need any special tools like a torque wrench?

Give us an idea of what a 10 is for you. Is a 10 a tranny swap or a brake job?

Hmm... I don't have anything new to update. It's basically a smaller stock style pulley which allows the engine to spin easier.

If you are installing the UR pulleys, the part number for the Gate's belt is K070683.

Hi!

Does anyone know the weight of the stock TSX crank pulley?

How about the diameter (side to side)?

Thanks!
