Possible GB for Mugen AeroKit ?
Hi all,
I send one e-mail to KingMotors today (Mr. Scott) if they are interested to get us good price for GB on AeroKit. Prices above are listprices from their web, so these are not GB prices. I'll publish discounted prices as soon as I get some feedback.
The bundle I propose to him could be :
- Side Spoiler TSX $ 630.00 (list price)
- Rear Under Spoiler TSX $ 520.00 (list price)
- Air Spoiler TSX $ 540.00 (list price)
- Front Under Spoiler TSX $ 530.00 (list price)
This mean that whole 4 parts would be then $ 2.220 (list price)
I'll try to get best possible discount for order of 3-5 bundles? I've requested price of 1.700 USD for whole bundle? What do you think guys?
Does anyone have better contacts at KingMotors ?
And one more thing. I forgot that this post should be under other thread...

most likely Kingmotorsports wont give you any discount on Mugen parts...
it will be easier for you to go to the local auto shops, and see if any of them got connections with people (who can get Mugen parts) in Japan, and have them ship the parts to your area, so ya...not thru Kingmotorsports is wut i am saying
my friend has done that, and he did get Mugen parts for cheaper price, but...not that much for sure!

I have cost for OEM body kit for Honda Accord TYPE S
-front 335 usd (non-painted)
- rear 335 usd (non-painted)
-side skirts 605 usd (non-painted)
prices are without VAT ex works Ljubljana, Slovenia
cost to color them : 290 usd
Total cost:1.565 usd + VAT + installation cost (60 usd)

It is a Euro R body kit.
Forget about King Motorsports, I got a quote from A&J Racing in Vancouver couple week ago for $2415 CDN = $1857 USD. (not include shipping)
You don't even have to group buy...

You don't even have to group buy...
The body kit can come painted or not painted. That's your choice.There is extra cost for painted ones though..
These will take around 6-8 weeks for special order. The price on the lip kit is $2070 CAD or around $1592 USD not painted. The painted price is $2415 CAD or around $1857 USD.
The prices are for the 4 pc lip kit...the rear spoiler is not included.

Mugen makes pre-painted kits for US model cars!?
Kingmotorsports staff once told me that Mugen doesnt do that due to the difference paint code between here and Japan!?
btw, 1592 usd for that 4 pieces (unpainted) is such a good price!

So the price Kingmotorsports give is included the rear spoiler and it is $2000usd unpainted?
The price from AJ is $1592usd unpainted without the rear spoiler?
How much is the rear spoiler alone? More or less than the $408usd price different?
BTW, I think you can order the bodykit painted from Mugen, just have to make sure you order the right color code.

I guess if you have the carbon grey and you want the Mugen kit, you probably can only get the unpainted one and then paint it yourself like the Mugen Grill.
BTW, I just email BPT to see what price they can give us on the Mugen kits.

Not feeling that spoiler...doesn't look right with the car IMO........
MC-CL7 can you get pricing info on the Mugen front lip alone while you're asking???? I'd get one painted for the right price.....

cmf, I will wait for their reply first. I just asked for the best price on both the Mugen and Euro R kits without a GB, because I highly doubt we can get enough ppl (ie. 3-5 ppl) to join a $2000usd GB.

yea the euro R skirts are the least aggressive of all the side skirts. it just doesnt match the GRRRRRRRRRRRR of the mugen lip. that mugen side skirt is freaking sick!

look how high the bottom of the rear euro R lip is compared to the mugen front. looks funny.
and yes that is the type R spoiler.
however, that being said, in order to afford the kit I may have to purchase piece by piece :'(
