well most of you know i have a decent mod list.
but i've been thinking about getting some more aftermarket stuff
1. recaro speed (used to be called SRD) seats (or maybe some bride)
2. takata harnesses
3. jdm headlight
4. mugen carbon fiber ignition cover
5. used spoon calipers for $900USD
6. spoon blue mirror inserts
i've already made up my mind that i'm getting cams (whenever someone makes some) and hondata (if it is ever released)
should i get any of these mods? or should i leave it the way it is?
opinions welcome. haters not.

Keep modding. You know you can't help yourself. Get the Recaros next as I'm interested in getting them myself and it would be nice to have someone do it first so I know which adapters I need, etc. Besides, MarineTSX already has Bride seats in his car.

And yeah, keep moddin'. When you part out the car for half of what you paid for, I can think of a few things I'd like.

that is a lot more g's in mods.
1. recaro speed (used to be called SRD) seats (or maybe some bride) - ~1300
2. takata harnesses ~700 for 2
3. jdm headlight ~600
4. mugen carbon fiber ignition cover ~400
5. used spoon calipers for $900USD
6. spoon blue mirror inserts ~100
so around 4000USD.
shit. that's a down payment on a house.

hondata is a company that reflashes your stock ECU. they are extremely reputable - they have done wonders for the rsx and new civic si motors.
this whole community has been waiting for over a year and a half for hondata to release their product.
i will def buy this when it comes out. without any doubt in my mind.

the only thing that sucks for me is that i have to redo the back seats to match the recaros if i get it.

black w/ red stitching.

I've been going back and forth w/ Marine TSX. I am looking at seats as well, but will probably go with Bride seats. Hopup racing (yahoo seller I guess) has Bride seats for 800 and some change each. I plan to go Black on Black Fabric with the Bride Brix II seats. I am waiting for a reply from those guys about the red stitching. I think it sets it off. You can get the red stitch with the leather, but I plan to get the fabric. Also, I will have the rear seats redone with a like material in black and red stitch as well. Should look good IMO.

I really don't understand people who buy takata harnesses when they don't race their car. At least bucket seats are something you can use, but that harness isn't street legal, and I think you've said you don't plan to race on a track. I don't quite understand why Takata harnesses are drooled on car show judges, they're just expensive, green, and every jdm fanboy has them now. how original is that
First off...I'm not sure what kinda response your thinking you'll get from the people in this section. After all, you are posting in the "parts and performance" section. Most people here of course are gonna say to keep modding. Myself included.
I think you should definitely keep modding. Your only young once and later when you're married you're gonna have to "clear" all of your mods with your lady. A lotta women don't understand why we spend all our money on cars parts, just like we don't understand why they must have 20 pairs of high heels. So I say keep modding while you're young and still can.
I think you should get those Bride seats. The black on black would look good. If you don't wanna pay all that money you could also just get the JDM headlights. The headlights are a little overpriced though IMHO. You might just want to wait and save your money for hondata when it comes. I hope it comes out soon!

Set your goal, then go from there.
I voted
to the list you posted. Since you're not gonna race the car, there's no need for seats and harnesses. The other stuffs you listed are mostly "bling" stuffs. The Spoon calipers are nice, but I'd rather go with a BBK. But that's just my opinion.
keep moddin it cuz your mod list is not long enough :troutslap
just kiddin, your tsx is definitely one of the most decent tsx's out there
i agree w/ xizor and vwong, definitely set up your goal and go from there, and the most important thing is to hv fun w/ all those aftermarket parts and always feel happy with your own decision.
what you hv on your list now is cool, just don't buy "mugen carbon fiber ignition cover" cuz i've got it already
good luk !

my "goal" is to have a bad ass street car - that is still capable of showing.
i've always wanted recaro's - the speed seat (SRD) is tge sane seat as the ones that came on the integra type r anyway - it's not a hardcore racing seat. and they do come in suede, which is pretty nice.
the takata harness and the jdm headlight are low on my priority of mods that i want.
and used spoon calipers? hmm. i almost rather pay the extra money and get some rotara's or stoptech's or brembo's.
but then it all comes back to - is it really worth it?
oh well. i know i'll be buying that hondata. the rest is up in the air.
