have you done this? it's not some crazy breakthrough idea or anything but i just wanted to know if everybody removed/altered their fog light covers to get fresher air to the air horn even though not DIRECTLY to it. https://acurazine.com/forums/album.p...ictureid=54526 think it makes much of a difference? i did this AS SOON as i got so i dnt hav anything to compare it to other than stock of course p.s. also did the TB bypass

 

I wouldn't do it, the increase in air flow would make little to no difference. I highly doubt that you could feel in increase to the pedal. Try it and let us know how it goes. I would be careful when it rains though. Wouldn't want to suck in too much water while driving around.

 

srry i havnt been on in a while been taking care of a few things but anywho, i cant really give an answer on the difference it makes as i cant UNcut my foglight covers lol. but i can say that i did notice a nice little kick after installing my intake and TB bypass , also ive driven in rain a bunch of times at some pretty good speeds and to my knowledge nothing's happened

 

Actually yes. I used a dreamed and carefully cut the slits open as this is directly in front
Of th ice box snorkel. You will notice an increase in sound right away. This essentially turns it into a SRI. There really is no risk associated to it so don't listen to that nonsense. You put the ice box in the to cool down the air and increase the flow - why wouldn't uou? Dennis of I modify is the one who initially suggested this - he really knows his stuff.
