Which one?

I don't have too much money at the moment so im contemplating some relatively cheap upgrades to my 06. Its between the Comptech rear sway bar or the Injen CAI. I dont think the sway bar will void the warrantee but the CAI will, right? Is it hard to just switch out the CAI for the stock intake before going into the dealership? Will the CAI actually cause problems? Will it void the warrantee if i take the car in for something else and they see that ive changed the intake? Also, any other suggestions for relatively cheap mods? Sorry for all the questions, all of them were burning a hole in my head so i decided to join to find out.

Well do you want better handlings (reduce body sway) or more performance?

Will the sway bar void the warrantee? Also, which one is the best? I heard comptech is nice.

they can't void your warranty for an intake =P unless you hydrolock your engine. But the injen is convertable to shortram for the rainy months.

The odds of you hydolocking are like umm NEVER! The only way you will hydrolock is if you drive into a puddle that is like 3 ft deep, and then its not a puddle and your just an idiot....lol

What i would do, is take out the resonator box (part of the intake install process anyway and allows more free flowing air) and buy the rear sway bar because you will feel more of a difference in performance with that then the intake right off the bat......at least i sure did! The price of the rear sway is like $120.....check out the acura ebay stores!

Since you have an automatic, and you want performance, the Injen shouldn't be your first mod. It will rob you of power and torque below 3500 rpm and adversly effect your daily driving.

The sway bar is really a fantastic addition to the car tho. I would recommend that intake if you had an MT or other additional mods, like a new header and hondata. In the meantime, you should remove the air resonator from the stock intake. Its almost as good as having a Comptech Icebox! Use the search feature to look for more info on it.

I presonally recommend the Progress rear sway bar, as it has 2 adjustible settings, comes with poly bushings, and doesn't have clearance problems with aftermarket exhausts. The comptech doesn't have any of those features.
