So who is going to be the first to do the JDM Engine SWAP. I would love to do it but I will wait till I can get an entire front clip and all.

It'd be easier and cheaper to rip the engine out of my Type S.

For $5k I can send my engine off to HyTech in CA and have Ron go to work on it, lose 4 lbs of rotating mass, get about 280 whp and 200 wtq, be Hondata compatable, and smoke that overpriced motor.

Don't get me wrong, the K20A is a great engine...if you find one from a wrecked car for $3000 or less that includes all the same parts that guy is selling it with for $5000. I'd rather stick to my K24 in this case...now that Hondata has a reflash for us. Otherwise, I would have stuck to the plan that was working on the K20A2 (RSX-S) swap.

Especially considering the power you'd lose down in the low end of the power band. The Hondata reflash should pretty much cover your power issues for daily driving.

if it was going into another platform like an EG, EK, or DC2. My friend helped build a sleeper and they put a DC5R into a 2004 4dr Civic. MAN does that thing pull but MAN is that thing ugly!!!

rsx-s is k20a2, k20a is the Integra Type-R, Civic Type-R and Euro-R motor

k24 w/ hondata, i/h/e, cams > stock k20a. and less money may i add.

k24 + SC > k20a (same amount of money)
