OEM vs Euro R front lip skirt
I haven't seen the Euro R front lip in person. So my question is: Does the bottom of the OEM front lip "scoop" out more than the Euro R? From pics, it looks like the Euro looks kinda more flushed with the front bumper as for the OEM looks like it sticks out more.

Thanks. That's what I thought. But you know, sometimes it's kinda hard to tell through pics.

The Euro R Front lip skirt looks awesome...I think I might get that one over the OEM one. How much more does it cost over the OEM? and where can I find it, does anyone have a link?
Thanks

So there's no difference in terms of shape or size of the OEM and JDM fog lights themselves?

I haven't actually seen the Euro R lip in person, so I don't know what the fitting is like, but here's a few questions:
1. why would these housings be needed?
2. Why wouldn't the OEM housings fit?
3. Also, do the OEM fog lights fit into the JDM housings the same way they would fit into the OEM housings?

^^ Housings are different, and I believe the lights are different as well.
You can use the OEM wiring harness and stalk to use them/ wire them up, but the lights are different.
I believe the reason behind the different housing is due to the way the Euro-R lip covers up the foglamps. Look above at the black car and the housing. See the lip how it extends more. On the JDM version, parts of the housing need to be cut out (as shown in the link above from BPT) so the Euro-R lip can be installed through those cutouts.
In short, if you're going to use the Euro-R kit, you need the Euro-R lenses and housing, but can use either wiring harness. That's the way I did mine when I had it.

anyone have any idea what the jdm front lip would look like paired with the oem sides and rear skirt? those seem a little cheaper and not too different. just wondering if anyone had tried this / seen it done and could comment on how it looked...

Yes, that's all you need.
If later you decide to use the Euro-R front lip, all you have to do is cutout part of the housing to allow the front clips to fit. The housing is marked where it needs to be cut.

Thought I already helped you with that. YOU NEED the JDM housing and fogs for that specific kit.

Regarding using the OEM harness, does it just plug directly into the JDM lamps or will I need to do any wire splicing?

Plug and play. No splicing or anything of the sort. Do you already have the USDM fogs on your car?

But thanks to your info, sounds like I can go ahead and install the OEM fogs since all I'll have to do is unscrew, pull and unplug the OEMs. Then do the reverse to install the JDMs.
Correct?

Yeah, installing the OEM fogs can be a bit of a pain in the rear. Be careful under the hood installing the wires, it's easy to break things in there. If you take your time, you'll be good to go.
Can't think of any other tips, install is pretty simple if you have the directions. It'll be pretty easy to sell your OEM fogs once the JDM ones arrive. A lot of users get broken lenses.

I didn't keep my TSX long enough to find out, nor do you see too many posts about broken lenses anymore.
