OEM Mudflaps on Mugen Lip Kit

Hey everyone, i finally got my mugen kit on and i was wondering if anyone with this kit has managed to get the OEM mudflaps to fit back on. Just want to know if its even possible and if it is do they need to be trimed or modified in any way.

Let Me Know. Thanks.

Yeah, I think it would be heard to make fit. You would probably have to mod it because the shape of the sideskirts and rear bumper are different. The sideskirts already hang lower than stock, so I wouldn't put them on because I'd be worried about scraping them on stuff.

I think a better question is... why would you want to? This would look terrible.

Tell me about it. I just took mine off a month ago after having been on the car all its life (it's a 2004). Even after a lot of washes and Scratch-X, in certain light you can tell they used to be there. Once I put on my OEM bodykit it will cover most of it, thankfully.

Honestly, does it help at all? My car gets so thoroughly coated in winter crap it's laughable to think those tiny mud guard would even make a minor reduction.

I took them off after 10,000 miles and the scraped up my door pretty bad i replaced the side skirt so least half the line is gone.

Yeah. My kit should arrive this week so hopefully once I install that the marks will mostly be covered up. The front mudflaps had the worst scraping on my car also. My new crusade is telling new TSX owners to take off the mudflaps ASAP to avoid paint damage... I wish dealers would never install that!
