OEM factory MP3 player

i'm thinking about getting the OEM mp3 player for my 06 TSX.

the oem acura parts.com has this for 367.00.

I have Navi, and when i install this, how is this gonna show up in my navi screen? (as CD ? aux ? )

for those who have this on yout tsx, do you recommand it over aftermarket mp3?

how much is the installation at the dealer?

The reason why i want this is that i don't want to spend too much on sound/entertaintment system on the TSX. i need money for more performance mod. plus, i luv the way 06 TSX/navi looks, don't wanna drill no holes for aftermarket mp3 deck player etc...

(FYI, all i'm doing to sound/entertainment system to my TSX is mp3 player and backup camera with output module connected to navi screen)

If you're willing to spend almost $400, you should just get an ipod and ipod adapter like the USASpec or Dice units (you can use the steering wheel controls to change songs, and some newer models are supposed to even show the text on screen). You could get both for less than $400.

some dearles are really dumb though.. prolly i would say 9/10 times the person who answers. will say oh ya it does that. then 400$ and an empty pocket later you will find that it just shows a folder # combined with file # haha.

+1 for ipod + USA spec harness

I spent 300 on mine (125 for the harness, 170 for the 8gb ipod nano on ebay)

I should add that the ipod adapter installation is a super easy do-it-yourself job. No dealer interaction required.
