OEM body kit
hey there, i was wondering how much an entire OEM body kit would cost me (side skirts, rear and front underbody spoilers, and rear spoiler) WITH installation. I would really like to get it from a dealer, but if i can get a significant price differance somewehre else, dont mind!

Did you ask a dealer yet? How many dealers are there in your area? YOu can get a good price if you buy online and if you don't want to the install, just have your dealer do it. Its that simple, try hondaacuraworld.com. They have good prices. Also, do a search, you'll find a lot more info on this site.

I bought mine fo $900 painted and shipped and it is really EASY to put it on yourself. If you print off the directions, you shouldn't have any problems with it at all! If you just don't have time for it then, i got a quote at my dealership for i think around $450 though! They quoted me $1300 or so for the kit, and like $1700+ to put it on, so around there!

My dealer wanted $1700 for the underbody kit including installation (not including the trunk spoiler), or $350 just for installation
I bought the underbody kit from hondaacuraworld.com for $911 shipped.
Installing the kit is kind of a pain in the ass for the '06 models. Much more involved than the '04/'05. You have to take of the bumpers to install the kit
Worth doing it yourself IMO

Buy it for a good price online, then install it yourself. Some stealers charge $400-500 to install a body kit. Complete ripoff. Do it yourself, it's easy. Use the money saved for another mod.

Check out this thread. It should include the 06 install instructions.
If you can't find them, send me a PM, and I can e-mail them to you.
Good luck

I purchased the complete 2006 kit (minus the wing) from Acura of Escondido. They have an eBay store, and were the lowest Dealer price I was able to find. Expect to pay around $925 - $950 shipped. The instructions that come with it are very good for the most part. I am fairly decent with taking things apart and putting them together, but this was the first time I ever attempted to put on a body kit.
Install took 4-5 hours, but this is because I took my sweet time to do it right, and I didn't have any help. In addition, I deviated from the instructions slightly. The rear bumper actually has two support bars that go the height of the bumper. The instructions explain the removal, but does not indicate what to do with them after (the instructions would usually indicate to discard or re-use parts, but didn't for this piece). The supplied bolts were too short to re-use. So I improvised because I wanted to re-install the bars, so my bumper would stay rigid at driving speeds. I had to grind off the nut that was welded to the support bar, and re-drill the hole larger. After doing this, I was able to re-install the bar with the supplied bolts.
In hind-sight, the installation is pretty easy. If I had to do it again, I could do it in less than half the time. I would say if you are not good with your hands, and don't have the right tools, it may be worth paying for the installation. If you are going to do it yourself, I would recommend having a helping hand. This will be most helpful when it comes to removal and installation of the bumpers.
Good luck!

OEM kit for 06
I included the price for the body kit/install/labor at the time of purchase down to $1800. The body kit price/install was always part of any car negotiations from day 1. We did not break down the cost for each individual item. My body kit is covered by the 4yr/50k warranty since it is dealer installed. Dealerships may or may not cover the OEM kit if installed by someone else. The price included:
- OEM full body kit
- Wing spoiler
- Metal trim kit
- Trunk tray
- Acura Cargo Net
- Moon roof deflector
- Door edge guard
- Pin stripe
