Angry No brakes

My car broke the front rotors and pads and they gave me a CL until the parts arrive. I saw the spoon page last night and the mono block caliper can be installed (price is $1,500). Any ideas if the rotor size is the same?
Brembo does not have a front kit available or stoptech.

I drive around 60 miles daily and on the highway I hit around 80 mph then the changes in temp from home to my work and the braking at the hills cause friction which makes the rotors very distorted. So they were damaged and now I'm just waiting for the parts to arrive to the local acura service. I'm sure that I need an upgrade to more agressive calipers and rotors up front.

that's pretty amazing like stokeless said if that's really the problem. And if that's really the problem, i kind of doubt aftermarket rotors will help a lot especially if you go for anything cross drilled or slotted. Also, a more agressive caliper is even harder on the rotor and pads.

Sounds like you need to break in your rotors before starting to drive the way you do.

Aftermarket rotors will do nothing for you, I know, I already broke some powerstop rotors, me too. Sad to say, but the problem wasn't the rotors, it was me.

And another myth, heated rotors don't distort. It's at the limit very unevenly cooled rotors that do, but that doesn't happen on production cars. When your rotors warp and craxk, it's because the pad material hasn't been well layed around the rotors during break-in. This is why you need to break-in your rotors for at least 500 miles of stop and go driving.
