You mise well just throw a stick of dynomite into the engine bay. I believe with the TSX a dry kit is not available. I think that the dry kits are a little more safer and reliable then the wet kits. But putting nitrous in your TSX will drastically shorten the life of your car. Plus without upgrading the internals you have a higher risk for engine failure. And we all know that there aren't many internal upgrades available.

Wait, so nitrous will shorten the life of your car plus risk engine failure? (I agree with you, though -- there is no free lunch.)

tsxondubs was running Nitrous. Do a search for nos and his user name. He's selling his NOS setup in the black market section.

Functionally useless unless you find a way of manually increasing injector duty cycle so more fuel ends up in the cylinder to take advantage of the denser/more oxygen rich charge. Also dangerous in the same circumstance.

I personally think its funny none of u have had nitrous on a tsx and u seem to know everything about it .I have sprayed my tsx for over 6 months on a daily basis and i have had not the first problem on a 50 shot and the car pulls hard as shit ,The car breaks loose on 20's in 1st 2nd and 3rd while on the bottle .I think if its installed right and with a window switch so u dont go past rev limitor while spraying u have nothing to worry about as long as u dont spray 10-15 times a day .I personally would do it again if i had another tsx to spray since it ran so good with it .Their is 2 or more tsx's here in my town that are spraying i had a nx kit and the other guy is running a venom nitrous kit and we both have had no problems at all for the last 6 months

The window switch engages at a certain rmp then disengages before redline so u dont over rev ur motor with nitrous spraying witch is what happens to alot of people when they mess up the motor .and for whoever posted that pic of the rsx motor internals that had to be atleast a 100 shot which is what most of the rsx's run since they never seem to get enough power anyways.I think if you want power for the money they hell with exhaust and header just add some juice for a 50-75 hp gain and still have extra money to buy something else .

I seen an Integra motor blowup with only a 50 shot. Nitrous is evil.

from my understanding, as tsxondubs has said, it can be done. but obviously tsxondubs knows how to do it. i think you really have to be careful with it, as it's more than just a "few risk"

i'd steer clear myself. but i do have a friend who could help me do it right if i wanted to.

Hate to be a killjoy, but six months on the bottle isn't exactly a testament to longevity. Having plenty of experience with NOS on big Chevy motors (and drivetrains) built to handle it, I wouldn't in a million years put a TSX on the bottle if it were my daily driver. That much extra push on stock internals and drivetrain not designed for it, something's gonna break or burn sooner or later. Six mos, 12 mos, 24 mos. Sooner or later.

If, however, your TSX is a short-termer or throwaway to you, the bottle is cheap hp.

Well, nos isn't consistent hp gain.. and it can kill your motor... why don't you consider trading in for different car?

this is a much safer way to increase HP and Torque.

Hope they come out with a kit for the 06 AT TSX soon. They'll get my money.

I agree with tsxondubs. I have a 2005 tsx I've been running 50 shot out of a 10lb bottle by nitrous express for over a year now with no problems. its a wet system. I believe they are more reliable than dry and I don't run purge so lower risk of pulling. if u get the right valves ie: low fuel pressure gauge and monitor your air to fuel ratio constantly you shouldn't have much to worry about. run seperate sylinoids for fuel and n2o. and people will tell you not to drive with it on but with auto shut off and arming switch no problems

how did you hook it up, did you wire into the tps in the ecu or what.
Are you running a window switch?

I know a guy who is running a wet shot on a k24 honda accord. That motor is less built than the TSX one, so you shouldn't have problems.
