Maybe not past experience, but more of a personal taste thing, it's ugly. Why waste the money, even for show. Save the cash and be one of the first to drop in the SC if that's what you want, or go w/ the system. My .02

Item D) wait; you can DO that??

I think it's Queer as Folk (yeah, that's why I'm interested in it)...again, can that really happen??!?

If I never mod my ride (which I wouldn't, unless the above is an option)...ggghhgggg....

Actually, I don't have experience with the door conversion. I just think it's retarded no offense....

Anyways, if anything, I'd invest in A and/or B.

haha... the doors wil come eventually.. yea i kno its been done already. but they still are nice (in my eyes) the system would be sweet.. havent really seen a nice system on a tsx yet.. everyone got the box set up.. im having audio excellence look at it.. they do good work.. um, as for the s/c im really hoping its less then 4 grand. cause if its not, then i might have to way a bit. the c/f hood.. i really want the jdm phase hood. but my brain keeps telling me to go with the domestic hoods which running for more thn half the price. well i still got some time to think about it.. keep the suggestions coming.. Z, dabuda any ideas? as for tom. i gotta get my tv re-installed...

hbux- I'm not 19 anymore either, but if I can have Gullwing doors, i'll sell my own testes. CMF brought up an interesting tidbit however; For the sake of my balls, I'd sell out on the gull-wings in trade for suicide doors....My wife would kill me for even thinking of such mods...but oh well...I got no balls anyway!

haha there isnt any application out for the suicide doors yet.. the best they can do is order accord doors, or TL doors and modify to fit my ride.. thas gunna cost a bit more, plus.. its not gunna be exact fit the way want it.. if I get the doors, i want them to last a bit. when is this supercharger comin out anyways?

Don't go with the vertical doors. Half the cars in car shows have them. Like said above go with the suicide doors for the back doors. Any decent shop should be able to do that.

Go with the s/c.

suicide on the back... hmm havent thought about that.. im jus a sucker for vertical doors tho.. BUT, since there isnt even an apication out. im thinkin bout dropping that idea.. this superchargr.. should i push for that or wait for turbo kits to come out.. and the reflash and junk. it seems that the performance of our car is jus about to boom with all these companies coming close to releasing their products. so far its the custom trunk job for me.. but if i got a real good reason to get that s/c im going for it.. anyone else plan on gettin that?

I can't see lambo doors on a 4 door car! You'd need to do all 4 IMO, which would be rediculous. And the system adds about 50lbs to your car for the equipment, which would not be good for the performance you're looking for.

None? so yea.. you wont be seeing any Auto's with systems running around huh, i doubt the c/f hood would be worth it on any car since its only around 15 lbs less, so yea lets scratch that off the list as well. btw, i have seen vertical door conversions on 4 doors all over the place.. it looks hot, it looks better on 2 doors, but it can be done.. check out Shaqs escalade, along with all those cars at HIN. now as for the comptech s/c, auto or stick, its gunna help. Alot. so im pretty sure its worth it if someone got the money for it. just cause somebody gotta auto... dont mean he should give up on the car performance wise.. check out that Turbocharged automatic rsx over on the clubrsx forum.. that shit serves its purpose.. as long as the driver is happy, then go for it.

***big note*** i never said you can't do them. as i said, i think it was only me. so go do whatever you like as long as you happy man. i am sure before you post this thread, you have already made your mind to do one of them. so you don't really need to take my words personally. just my little thinking in my head. no matter which mod you go with, remember to post pics man good luck.

edit: if you wonder the reason why i said it, it's really this thinking that is always in my mind: I have this $$$ to do these mods, why not save up to finance/lease/buy a MT? MT is soo fun and the TSX is my first MT and i have not regret at all for saving the $$ to finance it instead of getting mods on my old 3.2 TL.

wingwing, got ya covered on the pics as soon as somthin is done... as for clutchperformer wondering where im getting this money from.. well my friend, I live in FL, big time tourist spot, and I am working at a chili's right next to Disney. so them rich tourist leave me good tips.. so i just save off of those... my goal is to mod every break... so during school semesters i save... and summer, i work extra hard to save even more, plus the serving season is busy during these times and pay is well.. basically sacraficing (sp?) the little things, to save for modding. I was thinking bout the c/f hood.. wont it look stupid with the chrome acura grill.. I personlly cant picture it. as for the universal door kit... it a good idea, im jus not sure about the quality of the kit compared to a kit specifically made for the make/model.

Impressive. Good for you.

I agree with you about the CF/chrome thing. Maybe the hood will look ok with a Mugen grill or something.

That argument will never work. People mod their cars so they can be individual just like everyone else.

tsex, you should mold all your doors shut so you can't open them. then the only access point will be the sunroof. that's mad tight man.

i told you, get the hood, the S/C isn't goin to do you much good with an auto anyway. a stereo is nice too. but please no crazy door mods. it's tacky as heck.

but if you like it, and you always say you do, get it. just don't expect approval from anyone here haha

If you're gonna supply the parts, check out crutchfield. Sometimes you can find a good deal through them.
