New pedals

Just mounted my new custom-made pedals from www.autovation.net and they look great. The fitting is right on and the service from these guys is very good. Here are a couple of pictures of them (hopefully it works).

Since I provided them with the templates as the first customer for TSX, they have given me a break on the price. But with a regular price of $99 for the similar RSX pedals, I think they are much worth it than the JDM ones.

As far as I can tell after half and hour of driving with them, they seems to be fine. All the pedals have anti-slip rings except the gas pedal, which makes sense. I will keep you posted after having more experience with them.

IS this company based out of Canada? Is that $99 CDN? How's the install on these pedals?

Do those replace the stock pedal? Or do they just stick on??

You actually have to drill into your existing pedals to mount them. They provide applicable screws for the attachment. When I e-mailed them a couple of weeks ago to determine a price, they did say they may work on a group buy to get the price lower.

As sigmachi96 mentioned, these pedals are bolted onto your existing ones. Therefore, you have to drill some holes. The company is based in US and $99 is in USD. But it seems like they can give a group buy discount, which is even better.

The pedals are more or less the same size as the original ones, with the excepting to the gas pedal. They did make it bigger (or I should say wider) for heel & toe.

www.ultimatepedals.com

They have nicer pedals IMO, and they have different engraving options so you can get them customized however you like.

Checked them out, they seem quite a bit more expensive... You have to buy the break and clutch pedal, then the gas pedal, plus the footrest = big bucks. Although it would be nice to get them engraved, I really don't think it would be worht that kind of cash for pedals. Could probably get a Mugen set for that price.

Does anyone know if this set for $99 is complete (gas, brake, clutch, footrest)?

I mean we are not talking that much money. it is 100 bucks compared to 200 bucks for a nice set of engraved pedals that are not universal. They are specifically made for the TSX. You can get a set of mugen for that price, but they are still not as nice as a personalized engraved pedal. That is just my opinion. To each his own.

I agree everyone has their own idea of what they want. I think I would rather get a set of Mugen or JDM pedals for that price, but that's just me... I don't think that these pedals are universal. It sounds like they are being made specifically for the TSX

Does anyone know if anything ever happened with the GB for the pedals from autovation?? I remember a thread a while back

$99 for the RSX set is a complete set. As for the AT, I'm not sure if they have the template for the brake pedal yet. You may want to check with them.
