New Mugen Body Kits

I saw Mugen came out with new body kit for the 06 TSX on Boom Plus Toys website. http://www.boomplustoys.net/mugen_accord.shtml

I wonder if anyone know the different between the 04-05 and 06 TSX? If the new Mugen front bumper or front lip or front grill will fit on the 04-05 TSX?

Also, I see there is different on the 06 Euro R headlight. It has clear singal now. Anyone know if the 06 headlight can bolt on to the 04-05 TSX?

No one does know the answer to this yet, and we probably won't until someone tries. not it! Although my guess is that it wont fit. Because they kinda smushed the grill I think they had to have at least moved the tabs on the bumper in which case it won't fit without major modification.

However, like I said in another thread. Keep in mind that the 06 body kits have trim built in above the grill because of the lack of trim on the hood. So with both its gonna look like shit. You are probably going to need to get an 06 hood as well to make it look right.

I would think the grills wont be swappable, but could see the entire bumpers being swappable

Call King and talk to Scott... really knowledgable guy. If anyone would know I guess he would. Although if it were me I wouldn't shell out the $ until somone else does. The headlights just look a little skinnier to me so they would have moved the tabs...

I think it is an optical illusion that they are smaller cause the side marker in the new headlights is smaller and there is more black around it.

You are Right, CCC
it is a illusion. The Yellow/Orange singal refecter inside the headlight is smaller than 04/05.
But the size of the Headlight didn't change by my hand measured. (Not 100% sure)

I have a feeling that the front bumper, side, and rear will probably fit. Can't wait until someone actually try it out. I like the new bumper much more than the older style mugen bumper.
