new exhaust???

Ok so.. got an 05 TSX and love it to death, but want some more power and noise. A buddy of mine recommened a skunk2 evo 2 catback. I was just wondering what would be the best to throw on. I can't stand that rice sounding crap so deep power sound is what im looking for. What do you guys reccomend?

Personally I would get a header and high flow cat first and then if you want more sound get a cat-back system such as Tanabe, CT engineering, or one of the ones you mentioned. I'm sure others will have their preference on catback systems, so I would search around on the forum.

why would you go with a header and high flow cat over a catback?

For the 04-05 TSX, one on of the best mods were to get a high flow cat. That should cost around $300-$330. And it won't make it like "rice sounding crap." Save up for the the cat-back last. Its usually the most expensive piece and smallest gain for the TSX.

I would go with heeltoeauto.com or excelerateperformance.com
And I would go with a header and high flow cat because it has way more bang-for-buck than a catback system for our cars.

or you can look into a 06 cat because the diameter is slightly larger if im correct, one way to increase flow without draining the wallet

OEM Cat from the factory can (most likely will) cost more than many of the aftermatket units...but less issues with the CEL phenomenon afterwards.
