neuspeed vs. comptech short shifter

hey guys i wanted to get a short shifter has anyone had experience with either? which is better? do they just shorten the shift of does it make the shifter shorter and shift shorter? whats the deal here? hows the feel of the shift? please give me some good info on what i should do thanks guys

I believe either one is basically the same thing.

Run a search as this has been covered before and you should find more than enough info there.

But, for personal experience, I have the Comptech SS and LOVE it. It does NOT make the shifter higher or lower, but DOES make the shifts much shorter (something like 30-40% shorter... definately a lot shorter).

Be warned that the shifter won't be quite as slick, though. It will feel slightly notchier with the short shifter, but still well worth getting.

Definitely shorter, specifically 38% was the number... any you immediately notice it. I agree, a great and cheap mod.
