Neuspeed Front Upper Tie Bar

Anyone else see this on Neuspeed's website, I don't remember it being there before so I'm assuming its brand new.

link

This replaces the bar that goes over the engine bay? How does it affect handling. Being in the front, would this increase understeering?

Yes, it replaces the stock strut bar. I will be ordering one!

EDIT: actually, I take that back. It doesn't replace the stock one. It's installed over it! Check it out here

I was wondering why it didn't look like any other aftermarket strut bar, very weird! I wonder why they went for an addition instead of replacing the whole thing.

I was looking through Skunk2's website and they have a front upper strut bar w/ release TBD. They also have an exhaust coming out, cool to see more products for our babies being released.

Neuspeed strut bars are probably the best design out there. However, I do agree it's kind of odd it stacks on top instead of replacing the stock one. It looks a little clutter...

Considering that the TSX comes with one from the factory, I have a feeling that this upgrade will be mostly cosmetic.

I am all over that product. I have had that bar design by Neuspeed on every car I have owned since 1995.

Hmmm, maybe they thought there was too much "stuff" for the average person to remove and reinstall for the installation of the bar

Neuspeed strut bar is very good quality and handling. Gor for it! I have Accord 94 with Neuspeed strut bar for 5 yrs, I love it! I can't wait to get my own TSX and buy Neuspeed parts soon.

As much as I like the Neuspeed bar, I have to change my mind and get a Comptech bar instead. I specially like the black one if it's available...

I think someone has one but can't remember who. I will only buy it if it's black and not full price.

I think Comptech bar is the only one available that actually provides a mounting support for the fuse box. Check out the silver bar driver side attachment point above.

JTso, why not get Neuspeed tie bar polished? I think the polished will look great with new TSX ivtec engine.

All strut bars are not made equal. The process of building them can vary between manufacturers. Some bars are stronger than others. The thickness can sometimes be misleading. The Spoon one is about the strongest on the planet (coming soon...I just have the insider info, I guess you could say), and the Comptech isn't bad either.
