Need some help with interpretting the dyno sheet

So I finally got my TSX dyno'ed the other day. I was VERY dissapointed with the results.
The car laid down
MAX power = 171
MAX torque = 156
So why my car laid down the exact number as stock 6mt?
I have CAI, RT CAT, oil catch can, and TB coolant by pass. Those are the mods that I could think of that can affect the car's performance.
I know that there are variations for each dynos. But to this extent? The dyno I used was a Dynojet 22x, I think. This result was done on a pretty cold day.
Anyway, I don't have a scanner but I do have the dyno file, which I can't open cuz WINPEP doesn't supports MAC. So, I was wondering if anyone with the program can help me out here.

I think Hondata reflash and header will do you good.

Alright, so there's the dyno sheet.
What I don't understand is why my horsepower is so low?
I see that the torque number on my car isn't that far off but the horsepower is a bit low. Almost same as stock.
The only thing that I can think of is the fan they used. To me it seemed a bit small that other place that I have seen. Could that be the reason?

I think you DEFINITY need Header and Reflashes as JTso said, w/ those your Dyno will be improve alot~! Other than that, it looks alright to me. Those number are WHP not HP

I have an 04 M/T and when i dyno'd stock on DynoJet i put down the same WHP as you..with alil less torque..so i think something is wrong..u should atleast be putting down more than 171WHP.. but do you have a M/T or A/T?

I have the 6mt.
Prior to the dyno about 100 miles I had an oil change.
That's why I posted here cuz the numbers seemed low.

Your numbers are similar to mine, see https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...2&page=7&pp=25 last post I believe. I only hit about 171hp after the reflash, injen cai, hondata gasket, tb coolant bypass, oil catch can, fujitsubo catback.

Never was able to figure out what was wrong...I have the RT cat and big bore tb waiting to be installed...i'm going to sell my fujitsubo, get a j's single outlet catback and see if that makes any significant changes...

Hhmm, so with all the recommendations JtSo gave you, such as checking the plugs and the compression, you never found out what's wrong with the engine? Strange....
Did you try to run side to side with JtSo when on your way back at all if you car is actually falling behind?
Would you mind comparing our VIN number? Yours an 2004 right?

I really wouldn't worry about comparing your dyno numbers to others. There are a lot of variables that can effect dyno numbers, so it's difficult to compare them to each other unless they were done on the same dyno.

Ideally, you should have probably did a baseline dyno, and then went back to the same dyno after you got your mods. I understand that it's expensive to do that though. I didn't even do it myself. I just lucked out on my last dyno because Comptech took care of switching out my parts to OEM and then back. Maybe you can find someone in your area with a 6MT all stock and have them do a baseline on the same dyno.

And I definitely agree with Jtso. Get the reflash first, and then a header after that.

Yes, I know that ideally I should dyno once my TSX was broken in to get a base line graph.
However, manual transmission these days contribute about 15% of power loss and coming back to the graph, 15% of 200 at the crack (as quoted by Acura) means 30 horsepower. So it's like i'm making stock numbers and that's what frustrated me.
Yeah I know it's just a TSX but still why such a low number.
As for difference in dyno sheet. Most of the Dynojet owners usually calibrate once the machine was bought. In this case I dyno'd my car on a Dynojet which is as same as most people on this board here and given my location (Chicago, not as high as Colorado) I believe that I should be making a little bit more that what I got.
Right there are two things that I can think of that caused the low HP number.
1.) Inadequate fresh air. The blower they used was a little too small that what I have seen at other shop. They used an industrial blower where you used it to dry floors.
2.) Wheel slippage. I was running on snow tires on stock rims.

Yes, we went to the dyno together after the Hondata reflash and here are the results...

I might try and dyno it again at other shop.
