NE1 feedback on Stoptech replacement rotors?

My front OE rotors are about time to retire so planning to get some replacement. Want to get the RB Up rotors but damn so expensive to get those ship to Canada. And just found out Stoptech has reseller in Canada and the price is not bad. So did ne1 try them out before?

I just bought front Racing Brake Up and StopTech Rear rotors. I will let you know my thoughts in a few weeks. However, I do know that StopTech is big with the BMW crowd. Many of my buddies that have tricked out beamers utilize Stoptech rotors. I'm sure they are better then the OEM Good luck...

I'd check to see if StopTech did any changes to the replacement rotors. I had the front replacement rotors, and they did not put the rust proof coating in the areas the caliper does not allow the pads to touch. Hopefully that makes sense.
Without that coating, you'll have a band of rust on your rotor. Do a search, you'll find more info about when it happened and I think I even posted pics.
Call StopTech and ask them as well, they should let you know if they have made such changes.
