i just came up with some money and after much consideration...decided to buy the mugen front lip for my cg tsx!!!

me personally i was thinkin about going OEM sides and rear. but i'm not sure about that yet either.

^ hahaha... dude, i am jus kiddding... there's already a CG w/ Mugen lip, but they are replicas, so...i am still happy~ but people mod their car to be special, that's why i didn't get the OEM kit...or the Mugen bumper kit....too common here~

but anyways, i didn't say that so you get the OEM side and rear, but i've seen the Mugen bumper with OEM side and rear, it looks fine. I've seen just mugen lip too...it looks ok. Some people just don't like wasting money for side and rear...but, i just like the whole kit better. Tell you the truth, the mugen side and rear don't even show up on a CG anyways... some people think they are just OEM...

oicic...the only reason i was thinkin about gettin the oem sides and rear was because it looks like the mugen lip lowers the front end enough to notice that they dont really match up with the sides anymore.

 

benz....do youhave any pictures of your car? i'd love to see how the mugen lip looks in cg. i mean the real mugen lip. i've seen immitations...those just dont look right to me

i am very interested in buying the full kit thats on the black tsx a few posts above, anyone know where i can get it (and how much it is)?

EvilJohn's -Black TSX- is a Mugen "Front Lip" + Mugen Grille, NOT Full Kit.

Bottom one, though that looks like the full bumper...Top one is the lip.

 

I love the bottom one(full bumper) as well but we'll all not sure whether it will fit the 04-05 models....

 

i dont think those fit our cars...bumper has comletely changed for the 06 tsx.

 

^ People still question about the Bumper fitment, because of the head lights...

however, i am sure the lip won't fit. We don't have the intergrated fogs... but try it out Eviljohn, if it work, i want the 06 style!!

The black TSX in the pics above with the Mugen lip kit would look fine if not for the obnoxious and totally unnecessary rear wing. WTF is up with that?

Poor John... gets so much flak for that wing.

To his credit, he does track the car regularly, and gets to speeds where it actually does benefit rear grip in the corners. He's probably one of the few guys that actually benefits from his BBK as well.

Ya, i feel bad for John too... just because normal people don't track their TSX much doesn't mean others don't. I read up on his BBK thread, he said it helped ALOT...

but i think this thread can be closed anyways, since he ain't getting the lip anymore~

would it look dumb if i only got the mugen lip? i don't have the acura bodykit, its just completely stock body. would it be akward because the lip is farther down than the rest of the car? (wait, is it lower or not?)
