i have an 05 5AT SSM...and now that i have 5k miles on it, i was thinking about doing a few upgrades.

I want a CAI but i wasnt sure as to which one i should get, i see that a lot of people on the forums have the INJEN but i also like the k&N because it converts to SRI as well...WHAT SHOULD I GET? does the injen have any sort of bypass valve? I live in houston and the drainage system here SUCKS!

im looking for a lil more power and deeper engine note overall (cant afford an exhaust yet).

PLEASE HELP!

also, has anyone bought stuff from "xenonspecialist" on ebay, his rating doesnt show. i wanted to buy the lip spoiler. can i trust the seller?

Injen can convert as well

I went with K&N because it seems to have better build quality, comes with a drycharger, installs cleaner, better colors.

The injen does deliver slightly better power however and you can buy a drycharger to work with the Injen.

Do a search, this has been covered numerous times.

 

Xenonspecialist....easy transaction, got the spoiler in 2 days.
Intake - don't know about injen, I have a Comptech and love the muffled roar. Haven't had any problem with rain, but I haven't driven anywhere with drainage system that sucks.
