I am on the fence as which to buy, I would love to get the ice box but I do not want a loud intake hence why I am leaning towards just getting the KN filter. I have read the post about the ice box and everyone says that there is no difference between stock and the ice box below a certain RPM. I am worried about how loud it is when I am getting on the throttle. I did the resonator mod on my CL and it got annoying after a while so I put the resonator back in. Can anyone give me a comparison of the ice box vs just removing the resonator?

 

Your best bet would be a k&n filter personally i have a AEM sri on my tsx and it does wonders way better on that throttle but both make alot of noise at a certain rpm mines makes power sounds around 2,700-3,000 rpm and if i go higher it sounds like a monster but Who wants a quite car REALLY??? Both are fine choices but really intake would be more professional

 

ice box isn't really loud but it does give you a nice growl past 3000

 

Depends on what you want it to do? CAI or Icebox is to give you more highend power. If you looking for better MGP then K&N filter is the best bet. funny thing is 90% of Icebox owners place an K&N filter in vs the foam for better air flow.
