You can go to Hondata website and read a short review there, I just went to their site, and the IM is same as the Accord l-4's one, RBB?

Doubt anyone has tried it, I think the K24 Euro-R was only released in 2006 (???) Would be nice to get some specs on it though. Wonder how much diff there is between this one and the 2006 TSX IM.

Nah, there is no K24 EuroR. The EuroR comes only with a 220ps K20A.

Sure there is, unless I'm reading something wrong:

http://www.honda.co.jp/ACCORD/mechanism/index.html

The Type-S with DBW.

That's the Accord Type-S, not the EuroR. The EuroR only comes with the K20.

^^ Type S is the replacement of the Euro-R, no? Is there a Euro-R anymore?

EDIT: Disregard... I checked the website further. It's still there. Not sure what features are different between the Type S and Euro -R are though, outside of the engine.

EuroR and Type-S are 2 different car. EuroR has 220hp where as Type-S identical to TSX, de-tuned to 190hp over there I think.

The Type-S is the higher end model of the Accord line-up.

The Euro-R is lightened and decontented to a fair extent to make it a more performance oriented car.

the Type S is still basically a CL9, not a replacement for the Euro R

Type S is a CL9, but with a metal gear knob and part leather part alcantara seats.

The EuroR has a 220ps K20A, an LSD and cable throttle!

if you want throttle by cable and to ditch the TBW then why dont you just swap in a k20 intake mani w/ a k20 TB and the k20 cable throttle setup. SCC did it in there Feb '06 mag...

How do you figure that when the throttle is cable driven to the firewall anyways? All you are doing is bypassing the TBW box with a mechanical one.

he was joking. TBW is a big portion of the VSA. So by removing it you will lose some functionality and luxury.

So, what are you waiting for?

CCC, do you plan on changing the gage cluster to read Km as well? Now THAT would be JDM.

The stock ECU won't allow you to start the car without the DBW module. If you replace it with a cable actuated throttle body, you need to get an RSX K-Pro which will cause you to lose gauges, HVAC, VSA, and cruise control.
