How often or how many miles till you guys clean and oil your air filters? What cleaning products work best?

 

buy the comptech cleaner kit, and they reccomend every other oil change i think...

 

Just grab the K&N Filtercharger Cleaning Kit from Canadian Tire... works like a charm. I think it was about $15-$20 but you can do a lot of cleanings for that.

 

the K&N Kit is good bang-for-buck in terms of the number of cleanings.

 

K&N kit. I think Walmart has it for around $8.

you can't use the KN filter kit to clean the uni foam filter. Try going to a motorcycle store, they carry tons of foam filter cleaners and oil.

just got an email back from the store, and they are all out of the cleaner....apparently they got the cleaner from comptech, and do not have any more...

any idea what i should use for a Comptech airfilter??

i was going to try a motorcycle shop like recomended, i tried advance discount auto and the guy was clueless...
