a few questions, if you dont mind.

1. total cost
2. cost per item
3. where did you purchase them at?
4. how much was shipping
5. are you doing the install, or someone else?

thanks.

I ordered my parts from www.autocarparts.com

I ordered same parts through a groupbuy here on this board from http://www.importave.com/ DON"T EVER GET anything from this guy Marky. it was a JOKE the whole thing...

A word of advice; order your stuff through reputable companies like www.autocarparts.com. I've ordered things from them in the past with no problem and have great customer service also.

me and my friend are installin it ... their price isn't bad either.

Tanabe is an exhaust maker from Japan. Their reputation is pretty reliable. Tanabe is pretty much like Fujitsubo.
I notice that their gains aren't impressive as Fujitsubo but I just love the exhaust note on some of their application.

Haha, I just checked out the instructions on Comptech's website for installing the swaybar (http://www.comptechusa.com/instructions/ins134.pdf) and it says:

Step 1: Remove existing swaybar.
Step 2: Install Comptech swaybar.

I guess it's a pretty easy install!

Is it worth it??

Is there that big of a difference in an after market sway bar?
How much bigger is it? Compared to stock...

I mean are we talikng about 50% improvement or just a little imporvement...

50% improvement in what? It will certainly reduce body roll and reduce understeer but I don't know how you can measure that.

I think the comptech bar is something like 300% stiffer and i've definitely noticed a lot more neutral handling but who's to say how much better it is.

I am afraid that the front end would be a little more lose that then rear?

since I am gettin a much stiffer sway bar in the rear...

what are your comments on that?

did you feel you car handling funny at all ?

It's actually the opposite Delmiroc. A stiffer rear sway bar will cause the car to understeer less as opposed to more. If the rear sway was completely solid the rear would come out very easily.

I have the comptech rear bar with Pirelli Pzero Nero tires.

It is mostly neutral but can have some oversteer at
some conditions. Nothing alarming.

I can now take some hairpins very fast, that used to
plow my car.

It is a vast improvement and relatively cheap.

I wouldn't mind if the bar was just 1mm smaller.

You wouldn't want a larger front bar on this car. It already
has understeer and more front bar would be worse.
