If we had K-Pro, we should be able to break 300 whp

A custom reflash to take advantage of a smaller pulley would be nice for right now though.

there is a supercharger for the 2005 auto, BUT the kit comes with a reflash that our vehicle can't use. therefore, you will be paying for the s/c kit itself, as well as a hondata reflash which is useless. i'm still waiting for hondata ...

Hondata has a great technical article on their website that talked about the tuning potential of the K24A2: http://hondata.com/tuning_k24a2_tsx_engine.html

There's a superchaged engine on the page that was stuffed into an EP3 civic that was putting out 320whp. They had different cams, but they didn't say anything about modding any of the other internals.

The 440hp turbo engine below it sounds a little too much for the stock internals to take.

^^ Thanks Dan, I totally forgot about that artice that Hondata put together...

Just wanted to give you guys an update...the car is still running great...i can easily pull to 80mph and not notice(this may be a problem with all the cops around). I did have the opportunity to get up to 140mph without any hesitation/strain from the car...it just pulls!!!!

hopefully in the next few weeks i'll be able to dyno the car and then throw on the hi-flo cat and get another dyno for you guys....its just been a tad busy....

I just got back from the dyno and my max was 227hp/169tq SAE. The temp according to the dyno run was 93 degrees.

The dyno chart you saw was "uncorrected" to show the effect of cold air. I think the 06 is still making more power given the same mods. Do you have the actual dyno file? If so, I would be interested in doing a comparision.

i will try post em after work today (eavning). JT did u run in 3rd or 4th gear??? i ran in 3rd 1st and it was less results than the 2nd to runs in 4th gear!!! because if 5spd = 3rd gear if 6th speed = 4th gear JT '' uncorrected " means old Dino standards not new SAE standards??? so by NEW standards= take away approx 10-12HP???

You need a host, go to photobucket.com and make an account. upload it there, and copy and paste the link to here.

It would be great if you have the actual dyno file off the dyno computer, not just the printout. That would allow easier comparison. If you look at the upper left corner on your dyno chart, you see the names of those "run files".

on 8/21/06 at 9am (Shop opens) i will go get 3 more runs IF THE AIR IS COOLER hope for around 60 degrees versus 74 degrees (or at least 66 degrees)and i will give the guy a comp. cd so he could download my run files and then try to POST THEM HERE rather than taking digital picks
RunFile_002.drf Max Power =201.02 Max torque = 166.84
RunFile_006.drf Max Power = 206.93 Max Torque = 168.41
