It's official! The new fog kits won't fit!

So initially it was questionable whether the new fog light kits from ebay would wire correctly. Now it has been confirmed that the switch won't even fit the socket! So anyway is seems that the only fog lights you can buy right now for the TSX are from the dealers. What to do?

Try contacting the seller and return it? It depends on if you must have the factory type switch. Because as long as the fog lights fit in the spoiler opening, it's quite easy to wire a switch, relay and some wires to make the fog lights work.

You can just go to Autozone and get your own switch if you need to.

Aftermarket fog switch look too stupid and out of place. You can try 03+ Honda Accord fog switch.

When both my foglight lenses cracked I purchased another complete set of Acura foglights and just used the lenses. I then sold the wiring harness to a fellow member so I have an extra TSX stalk and all the remaining parts sitting in my basement. If you're interested PM me and we can work something out.

Why didn't you just go to H and A and purchase a single lense?

I knew someone would ask that and I needed to replace both lenses.

At the time I didn't know about H and A (still not sure what they charge). My dealer told me it would cost $110 for each lens plus installation ($220 total plus installation).

I purchased the replacement set from eBay for $250 and installed them myself. I sold the harness to a fellow member so my net cost to date is less than the $220 my dealer wanted for the lenses and that does not include the savings on the installation. If I'm able to sell the extra pieces to someone who needs them then I help them out and it helps me out.

The new kits I speak of are the 3 harness ones that can't even be wired correctly. SO

1) can't be wired
2) switch doesn't fit
3) they sent me USDM when I really wanted JDM

Nothing is right! So I think that I'm going to send them back and try again.
