most people with an intake in this forum either have injen or K&N, the gain is very respectable at 10-12 hp, although a little less in SRI mode.

Injen and K&N can be installed either as SRI or CAI, the choice is up to you. If you're looking for max hp, go for CAI.

2004 and 2005 is the same shit. Just search in this forum or use and you'll find it but like what Dan said, most people are using either Injen or K&N unless you custom make one yourself.

How about AEM? There's a really good review here.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any install instructions. I'd like to know whether it's significantly less involved than a CAI install. Per the review, it didn't sound very involved, but the review was not that detailed regarding the install.

SRI only takes like 20-30 mins to install because you don't have to remove the resonator. The performance of the AEM intake will be similar to all other SRI setups.

Just type "injen tsx" into Google and you'll get lots of sources. Or do the same in eBay. As far as I know, the 2005 is the same as the 2004 (only differences are the XM radio, the passenger seat, and a few other minor upgrades).

Wow really? I had a very positive experience with Park Ave Acura. I also checked out Ramsey Acura but they were under construction and the place was a mess so i decided not to go there.

Yeah, i purchased it @ Park Ave but theye were dickin around with me. The dealer wanted me to call him for the next couple of days to see if he had any progress locatin the car i want. I dunno didnt seem right so i ended it with him and he lost a sale. And so i switched dealers from there to Ramsey Acura. The Ramsey delaership is much nicer than Park Ave. When u said u checked it out, yeah it was gettin worked on. Its really nice . But yeah they neggotiated wit me a lil bit and i got it for cheaper there anyway so. Tomorrow im pickin it up. Like i said earlier in this thread im gettin a spoiler and mp3 player installed. And im gettin the Injen CAI eventually . $203.00 Ebay free shipping

i just installed my Injen literally six hours ago in SRI mode, best mod i've done so far. The sound between 5k and 7k RPM is so nice! I removed the resonator anyway, and cut slits in the foglight cover. From the look of it, it should help get more air to the filter in SRI mode, but who really knows. But the Injen is working out great for me!
