I am definitely looking for a new intake. Everyones talking about them and I think its a fun thing to do. I noticed theres mostly jus the SRI and the CAI. I am not sure which one to get...I heard the injen's gets the most power gains, but then im not looking so much for power gains, just the sound and smoothness. Any ideas which intake system I should get, or any advantages or disadvantages to each system?

 

run a search, but in terms of sound, all the aftermarket intakes will give you a deeper louder growl.

Injen/K&N both give the most HP gains, anywhere from 10-12 i believe, and the SRI intake around 9 ~ .

Advantages/disadvantages, there more or less the same, some ppl have SRI for fear of sucking up water with a CAI, but i believe the problem is nothing to worry about unless your driving in an ocean.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by "smoothness". The Injen and K&N are basically the same design so they're going to sound very similar. The Comptech Icebox produces less gains but is also not as loud.
