Installing Cone Intake

Hi,

I've tried searching for any thread with this topic but can;t seem to find it. I was wondering, anyone have any instruction on how to install a cone intake? I don't have a garage, so I have no intention on removing the resonator box. Please help....pictures would be glad, but instructions is good enough...Thanks!

Well where do you plan on putting the intake then? Do you mean leave the resonator sitting in your bumper and just replacing the airbox? That would have to be one ugly setup!

Hmmm...yeah......is that possible? Just don't wanna go thorugh the trouble of getting the resonator box out since it requires removing the bumper etc.

I think you might be able to do it through the wheel well if you take the tire out. At least this is what im going to try soon to turn my Injen from SRI to CAI.

I believe its just a plastic piece that can come off rather easily.

Hmm......one doubt I am having before trying to remove any plastic parts on the car is that, can the fastener be re-use when time comes to put it back together? would it fastened as tight as it is before removal? If its ok, I might try it out.

my experience indicates yes. I've taken the bumper off and it went back on just as good as before. Just make sure you use a small flathead screwdriver to pop out the clips so you can reuse them.
