Installing Brakes

I just called Wheelworks and they want $195 per axle and $100 for a brake flush so it'd cost me $500 buxs for labor and maybe $200 for some Hawk HPS off of tire rack. Does this sound about right for brake installation?

I've never tried installing my own pads so I don't know if I want to risk it even though there are such great guides on this forum, but brakes are kinda important... Thanks for any input.

$700 total for brake install....HAHA! hell no.

(it's easy, have someone show you the first time, you can do it yourself.)

That's what I was thinking. I figure for 700 I can buy the heel toe combo and try to install it myself. I'm going to have a friend help me out, thanks!

FYI, the procedures for flushing and replacing the brake fluid and for changing brake pads have been discussed in previous threads so they are just a diligent search away.
