Silver goes with just about anything. Depends if you have the wood too.

Installed the pedals today, (AT) and I have to say it was a bigger job than we were anticipating.
First, dead pedal, easy, 4 holes drilled, 4 screws screwed in. Done.
Next, brake pedal. A whole different story. AT brake pedal has a depression in the middle so if the new pedal was placed directly on the backing plate the rubber inserts in the new pedal would not be raised and projecting through the pedal. We had to put in a rubber shim to fill up the depression in the brake pedal. Then we were able to put on the brake pedal.
Also, despite reading in a previous post about taking off the shroud under the steering column to allow for more drilling room, we were unable to remove it. Dunno why. It just wouldn't seem to release after we removed all the screws.![Shrug](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/shrug.gif)
Gas pedal: attempted to remove it from the base to allow for more room to tighten the bolts but it would not release. Earlier post explained how to do this but it would not release. Continued install without freeing the base of the pedal.
Not the easiest thing to get behind the pedal to tighten the bolts but finally got it done. Oh, and during all this we dropped one of the bolts and couldn't retrieve it since we couldn't get the gas pedal released from the base. This necessitated a trip to the hardware store to get a replacement bolt.
Total time spent: about 4 hours.
Obviously we are not mechanics, but my husband (who of course did most of the work) is an electrician so is pretty comfortable with tools and such.
Now that they are on though, I really like the way they look
BUT, had I known what a PITA install this would be I would have passed on these.

wasn't it tough drilling the holes on the break pedal? i also had a hard time getting the gas pedal off but somehow managed. Did the rubber shim work in filling in the grove?

Yes, the rubber shim worked. I'd love to know how you got that gas pedal off. We worked on that for a while and never got it to come loose. The brake pedal was hard to drill. It was difficult to get the right angle so we had to make the hole a bit larger. All in all it looks fine. Tough job though.
