Injen CAI in flood waters
Ok...so i woke up today to torrential rains and had to get somewhere. Since i just installed my intake, i was alittle nervous to drive through puddles(hahaha). But i havent really heard any conversation on water damage. I cut down a back road and ran straight into a over-flowed drain which caused a pretty decent flood over the road and into front yards. and i had no choice but to creep my way through. Water was definately midway up my tire. So then i just closed my eyes and made it through.
But i really dont wanna take any chances, so i will be purchasing a bypass valve...anyone know the right one?

I wonder if the bypass valve hurts the performance on the Injen CAI? I know the AEM CAI w/bypass valve strangled the performance down to the numbers of a short ram, however that was on the accord v6 j30a1 engine. Someone should dyno before and after with the Injen and bypass valve to see whether or not you could just run the short ram instead of CAI w/bypass valve.
