I got and installed my Injen CAI, but I guess it must've been an older revision, because it came with a coupler for the vacuum hose rather than an entirely new hose.

Can I trouble someone to let me know the diameter and length of the new hose that Injen provides? The whole coupler thing is annoying, and I'd rather replace the whole thing with a new hose.

I assume this is something I can just go to a local Autozone or Pepboys for right? Or is this a bad idea?

I can't remember all of my K&N install, but I don't remember needing a new vacuum hose, I think I just used the original one.

Hey everyone... I'm new to the forum and have just started looking into purchasing a CAI for my ’04 TSX (carbon gray). I can’t decide on either K&N or Injen. I noticed that Injen CAI uses a K&N filter, but the K&N CAI is priced a little less. Does anyone have a take on differences between these?

They're nearly identical. The injen has shown a 2hp increase over the K&N on the dyno but the runs weren't done on the same dyno so in all likelihood they offer the same performance gains. I'd go for whatever you can get cheaper. Oh I think the K&N also has a mesh cover for the filter that keeps water droplets from reaching filter.

I believe Injen uses slightly larger dia. tube than K&N.

Does anyone have a scan of the install instructions available? I'd like to compare it with the instructions and part #'s that I have.
