I had a bad noise experience with a K&N I installed myself.
The culprit is metal to metal contact.
Tell your installer to be sure the pipes don't touch
inside of the silicon hoses, and use a rubber washer
between the lower pipe's mount to the inner fender.
These made a world of difference and I am enjoying my
CAI so much more.
I also put some dynamat on the inner fender.

Hey Tsex on19s can you show us a picture of your TSX with 19 inch racing hart wheel? I wonder if you are satisfield with 19 inch wheel or you feel you should get 18 instead of 19? How does it feel when you drive fast with 19 inch wheel? Do you have any hard time to speed it up? Because I am thinking about getting 19 inch wheel on TSX soon, but I still consider about 18 inch wheel because of performance. Thanks bro.

How did that work for you?

Super. I am so satisfied I'm going to do more but I ran out
of dynamat. There is also a liquid product that is painted
on, I might try.
I was getting certain noise resonances that are gone now,
except the air sound which is a healthy and not annoying.
The rubber washer was the right direction, I am trying to find
a better rubber isolation mount to put between the bracket and
inner fender. I should be like the upper mount to the original
air box bolt hole.
It will need to be thin, about a 1/4" and
the right thread size, it will be hard to find.
