Hey guys I was wondering what I should do to make my tsx a little bit quicker I dont care if its not meant to be fast it my car to keep and I want to make it faster so any suggestions with prices would be great!

 

I was thinking cat back exhaust what do you guys think?

 

adding a new exhaust will not make ur car faster. it's mostly a cosmetic mod and will net u no more than 1-3 hp. in other words it's a waste of money. if u have the money to spare for a piece of eye candy then go for it but it won't make u faster.

if u want a little extra pep in ur step then ur best options would be to invest in a new intake, header, and a reflash from hondata. that's the least costly and best option in my opinion.

option B would be intake, header, AND 07-08 ECU WITH HONDATA FLASHPRO. definitely more money but u'll net better gains.

 

Do you have a link you can post to as where i can order the reflash pro i looked around cant seem to find anything

 

If i got the reflash in which i want to money isnt an option will a mechanic know how to put it in? I have so many questions i really would appreciate if someone could just bare with me an help me out

 

The reflash is a reprogramming of your current ECU. You send it in with a key and the immobilizer while this is being done your car will be undriveable until you get it back. I plan on putting a cat back exhaust on, has anyone put one on an auto 06 tsx ? If so how much did it cost you? Whats a normal price range for this item?

 

This is the lowest bang-for-the-buck mod for a TSX. We are blessed with a very good exhaust system from the factory. Gains will be minimal.

If you want your TSX to be quicker:
- reflash
- intake mod (simply removing the resonator will help)
- exhaust header
- lightweight crank pulley

Replacing the exhaust would be last on my list.

 

What header would you reccomend around 3-400
