to be honest.. i don't get it. a DC5 doesn't have a k24. Atleast, no version in the USA has a k24 in it. They've all been k20

^ He is right. DC5 RSX has K20 in it. CL9 TSX has K24.

Care to clarify this for us ?

Unless he put in a K24 in his DC5 (which I'm not sure why someone would do that).

Aside from the K20/K24 confusion, I don't believe this will fit. The angles involved in a DC5 header's bends are different than those that would fit the TSX's chassis. The runners have a lesser angle of descent (whereas in a TSX, they go more or less straight down to connect with the cat or exhaust piping). I think people have tried this before and been rewarded with a steaming batch of fail.

I've heard of quite a few guys who put the K24 in an RSX. Many of do to it for the added torque that the K24 produces over the K20.

Yeah, I doubt the header will fit without some modification. Depending on the price you can get it for, it might even be worth it for you to get it and make some modifications to it. A Hytech system for the TSX has a long wait and is not an easy item to get. Or, there was a guy selling his used Hytech system on the forum for like $2500 (header+exhaust). So look into that.

^^ his setup already sold and i was a potential buyer...

Also, ive been on the waiting list for the HyTech TSX exhaust for just shy of 4 months now... it's definitely something you should order knowing that it wont come very soon.

Also, "stillhere" may be able to shed some more light because he seems to think that DC5 headers will fit with minor modification. If you're not looking to do any modification then it wont work.

JTSO i believe also made a post showing the two headers side by side and you can clearly see the difference in angle.

Personally, I would much rather have one of these for about $750 cheaper...

Then get the Hytech cams...which are in stock (no 10 month wait) and you will have 99% of the Hytech Grand Am kit......Hondata is needed of course

Mine should be here sometime next week but last time i talked to John he said he had one on the shelf ready for shipment.. This was about 6 months ago though. The header more than likely wont fit because the TSX block is taller than an RSX/DC5 block. So it'll be off.. sounds like the Hytech header was custom fitted for that hybrid setup. Call up John from Hytech and ask him.
