The Howling

Wanted to get started on my Typhoon installation this weekend in spite of the bitter cold that I have to work in. So I just installed the short-ram part.

Wow does that thing howl! Anything over 50% throttle is quite noticable.

Can anyone comment on whether or not it is much quieter in cold-air mode? (with the extension in)

Thanks...

Yeah it's quieter in cold air mode. Since the filter is farther away you usually can't hear the sucking as much.
