Hey I just picked up the Nokya Hyper Yellow H11's for the fogs on my 05' CG TSX (thanks for input guys ) I was wondering how do I open up the housing of the fogs without damaging anything? Is it an easy process to put the new bulbs in? I heard hear all kinds of info and I know you guys know the real deal, because many of you have done the mod already. Thanks!

 

You don't have to open the housing to get the bulb out. There are two screws that hold the foglight in, one is on the side and one is accessed via the bottom. When I went to replace my H11's, I discovered that the dealer only installed the side screw. This made it easier to get the fog out.

Anyway after you unscrew the two screws, you just reach around the back of the air dam and push the light out, it comes out as one unit. Then you disconnect the power, and rotate the H11 out of the foglight. Rotate the new one in, reconnect the power, replace the 2 screws, and you're done.

Let me know how those bulbs are. I just got mine from www.luminicsdirect.com. Funny thing is the website is no longer working. I have not had a chance to install it yet. Hope they are okay .
