You have to remove a panel or two, but they're easy to remove and put back. If you can figure out how to install a short shifter you can easily remove the ECU.
I was told by one dealer I emailed that the turnaround time is about a week, from when you pull it out of your car till you have it back (and back in the car)

omg, this is the deal of the century! i can't begin to comment how much i've paid for tuning in the past. HONDATA DOES IT RIGHT. i'd opt for the toda reflash, even for those whom don't own an aftermarket header yet

How does the reflash affect throttle sensitivity? Mainly I wonder how it changes the "lag" time after you take your foot off the gas and put the clutch in, and the engine has to drop down RPM (because of the electronic throttle).

Its really not that hard. If you can turn a ratchet/wrench, you can take it out. Takes a little bit of time and some patience. Check out Hondata's page for a DIY on taking it out, and also run a search as a few members here have posted their own pics or modified the Hondata pics with tips to get it out on your own even easier.

At this price, I could not resist. I've been wanting to do it for a long time, and now that the car's paid off, no more excuses. I FedEx'ed it yesterday, and hopefully, I'll get it back by mid-week.
I hadn't seen this feedback in earlier threads, so I thought I would share: I had a hell of a time disconnecting the wire harnesses. The clips would compress easily enough, but the plugs just didn't want to come out. It took a lot longer than I expected to get the plugs out; everything else was pretty straight forward.

I did the $295 reflash last week on my wife's RDX. I overnight both ways on Monday at noon and I was driving the car home on Wednesday after 4pm (New Mexico to/from Cali for $75 total).
I will do my TSX next in a few weeks.

All-in it took less than 10 minutes to yank the ECU, immobilizer, and put the screws and bolts into a ziploc so as to not lose them.
Shipping out Monday AM... can't wait for Wednesday or Thursday to roll around!!
