Help - removing emblem

I removed the Acura emblem on the trunk with floss and then cleaned up with rubbing alcohol. However, after cleaning up, I can still see the "Acura" mark on the trunk.... I haven't waxed it yet, but it doesn't seem like wax will help.

Those of you who have removed the emblems, any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

Sorry don't have a pic yet. Let me try the clay bar first since I have one back home, it's just that my 'home' when I'm at work is different than my home otherwise, and all my car wash stuff and everything is at my 'other' home

but until then I'll have this 'shadow Acura trim'

Thanks guys!

same things happened to mine, just use a little go gone and a few washes with some quick detailer and it will go away.

Doesn't GooGone damages the paint??
I use Bug & Tar Remover and let it sit for couple minutes.
Wipe it out after that and it goes away clean.
