I'm curious.. What performance gain, if any, can one expect when installing a header (comptech/dc) on a TSX with the stock air intake and resonator still intact? Will the restrictive stock intake nulify any possible benefits of the header? Vtec.net measured the gain of the comptech header at +~10hp, +~4lb-ft. So would it be less than half that with the stock intake.. Just curious..

The reason I'm asking is because I have a 5AT with hondata, comptech header, random tech hi flo cat... however, I have the stock air intake with resonator still attached. My next mod is going to be a comptech icebox (don't want the car to be too loud and hydrolocking is a real issue where i live). Anyway, just wondering if the performance increase will be very noticeable due to my other mods. Thanks.
