Tried installing the icebox this morning, everything went smoothly until I was about to close it up. No matter what I do, I can't get 3 of the screws holding airbox together to tighten up. Seems the holes out of alignment or the comptech box was just a little too thick. Anyone else experienced this? I don't supose there is a trick to this,is there?

if its the sleeves over the screws yer' talking about, for some reason, the CT engineering air box lid is a bit thick for the stock screws. you can just yank out that sleeve/sheath and use the screws.
that's what i did for mine; once you remove the sleeve/sheath-like thingy you'll be fine. i've had no problems with mine...

Look over the inside lip of your CT lid. My first lid was crudely routered-out, causing the lid to improperly seat over the base. I contacted CT–and they sent a replacement. Originally Posted by S2KDriver

It is also recommended to 'weather strip' the base.

Also, the lid screws can snap very easily. I replaced all mine with better quality, and slightly longer screws.
