hour! Havn't been able to drive it yet due to the rain Hope it helps!

I was at work when I got it done. I do live in the hollywood area. The
car has more pep to it thats for sure. I think my next step will be a header
and intake kit next week.

Congrats! I got reflashed by Epic in under an hour, too. You'll find out that it's easier to make the tires break loose in the rain.

 

If you get your reflash done by Kevin @ Epic. This is normal, no extra fees or costs. Nothing to be removed or anything. Drive to and from that is it! and pay of course.

Kevin goes directly to Hondata, which is not too far from his location. I wanna say all reflashes are done by Hondata directly. Located in Wilmington.

If you haven't had this upgrade done yet you should! Easily worth the money imo. I'm usually skeptical about little upgrades like this but this is something you can really feel.
Any suggestions on what header and intake I should buy? BTW I don't really want to

Ya, all reflashes are done at the Hondata facility. Epic Motoring just happens to be in the same vicinity, reducing turnaround. Kevin does a nice job.

No. Hondata only reflashes through their authorized dealers. The beauty about Epic Motoring (an authorized dealer) is that they are a few minutes from Hondata's location. Kevin just takes your car directly to Hondata and they do the reflash without having to remove the ECU. If you were to deal with other dealers you would have to remove the ECU and send it in (along with a key).

Huntington Beach is about a 30-40min. drive to Epic. All you have to do is call up Kevin at Epic and make an appointment. Show up, he'll take your car. Wait for 30-45min. and he'll bring back your car reflashed. Nothing could be simpler.

 

Damn i wish I was in Cali....If I didn't have to take out the ECU and send it in I would be all over this reflash

 

Do it anyway. It's not hard to remove the ECU/immobizier, and if you can find a way to live without your car for a few days, you'll be in like Flynn.

It's worth the effort.

Yea. I would love to have a road trip down there. Im in central ca and I have a brother in law in la area. I can visit him and get my car reflashed at the same time. Cant beat that excuse.

I notice that the list of Hondata dealers includes Acura of South Bay. I'm curious if anyone has dealt with them getting the reflash and if they also can just drive it over to Hondata (also in Torrance) rather than pull the ECU out. It would be interesting to find out their price and their position on accepting/denying warranty work for TSXs that they've reflashed for their customers.
