Fog light enhancement

Has anybody used these PIAA Tera led fog bulbs? The color looks great. I wonder if they would last long?

Since they're LEDs, I imagine they'll last forever and look pretty good up close, but not put out very much light compared to filament bulbs.

Very pricey for a LED.

Hmmm........good to see more LED stuff coming to the fore, but $90 is quite a hit unless your OEMs are already gone.
Still, be interesting to see what they look like if/when someone takes the plunge (and one for the community).

The HOEN XenonMatch H11 I'm guessing still puts out more light.

Of course, they're still incandescents with a mild filter coating. I imagine these will look cool, but the price is still out there.

im sure the bulb will out within like 3mo. to 12mo. and would have to buy another bulb
If u get three replacement, then i would think it's wiser to get the HID..

If they're LEDs, why do you think they will go out?

Right, but I'm guessing they were incandescent (filament) bulbs. LEDs don't burn out.

LED would yeild a clean white bright light...but it wouldn't illuminate the road very well..

Ask those of us how many sets of LED bulbs we've put over the license plate. I've personally had 2 sets. Granted the fogs are different, but I'd still like to see how long they'd last.

Probably, but they might be better for driving around with them on all the time without ticking off other drivers as much.

But, yeah, forget functionality. One thing that's nice about the stock foglights is how much they light up the sides of the road; you just have to tilt them down a lot so that they're not so bright for oncoming cars.

I dunno. I wouldnt pay 90.00 for 2 led bulbs. LEDs are very cheap. They probably would look cool but in your case I'd rather get HIDs instead. The color would match better and you will be able to see further.

Hi everybody. I got the PIAA Tera LED h11 "foglights" installed. They are beautiful, and match the HID Xenons well! They do not put out much light compared to the original halogen bulbs. I don't care though because I never used the originals because they didn't match the headlights. If you are looking just for an aesthetic upgrade that TRULY matches the HID Xenons, I recommend them. If you want something that puts out equal or more light than the standard halogen fogs, don't get them.

Here's a link for photos I took of them:
