This is the first car i've owned myself and had the freedom to mod.

What would be a good starter mod?
I'm looking for something that will improve performance (like stickers or something :P)

Seriously though, while looks and sound are very very nice, I'd rather spend what little extra $ i have on something that improves performance.

I'm thinking of putting in a cai. i've read a few posts about them.
I saw the warning about water on a merchant's website. How serious is this? If i put in an intake, would i really not be able to drive in the rain, or on wet roads? Or is this overhyped legal protection?
What brand do people like?

Is there a better mod to start with?

 

From what i understand you actually have to "put" the intake filter into standing water, just rain and what not is not enough to cause you problems.
