thanks. i checked groupbuycenter.com but unfortunately they don't have the springs for the tsx in stock. i'll probably just go with discount/america's tire.

I'd go with a set of Sportlines instead. They're lower by a decent margin. You're looking at this difference in drop (f/r):

Sportlines: 1.9/1.6
Pro Kit: 1.6/1.4

You are going to need to get a camber kit installed as well. Trust me. Don't just get the springs installed. The camber kit is going to cost you a couple extra bucks and then you'll need an alignment done too. You're looking at an extra $150 for the ingalls camber kit and the alignment will cost you about $100.

fyi-

i contacted the service department at pleasanton acura to ask how much it would cost to install springs... the guy told me $900. i thought that was ridiculous. installing the springs should take about a couple of hours. he said it would easily take more than than. he also said that they would only perform the spring swap with comptech springs. he said comptech springs would not affect the warranty, but the eibachs would.

this is the second bad experience that i've had with pleasanton acura. the first was with the sales department.:thumbsdn:

I just ordered Eibach Pro-Kit for $199 shipped. That dealer price is just ridiculous. I found a shop in Fremont that quotes $65 an hour. I'm going to check them out once the springs get here.

Make sure to find out how long they will take to ship it to you. Some place might sell things cheaper but they might take weeks to send it to you. When I buy things online, first thing I asked is if they have the products in stock and ready to ship.

I ordered a set from a company I've been dealing with for years. They only deal with suspension components... ASI 800-683-2890. Nice guys and never a problem. I paid $209, you might find it a few bucks cheaper elsewhere. The TSX shares the same springs as the newer Accords and is listed that way.
